💬 Melanie: YES! Immediately. [Emphatic] I'm not anxious. I’m anchored in myself with more curiosity and satisfaction than in my entire life. 💬 Melanie: It depends on what’s going on in my life to inform if I need another “package” or a one-off session but it’s far and few between because before the foundation session, I didn’t know where to find out what was even wrong since I didn’t want to do HRT. I would just start spinning out. Life comes at you so you need a tune up as a follow up like changing oil in your car. I find a full blown session is good every 6 months depending on what’s going on–like a mini tune-up every month and a bigger session every 6 months or more.
I’m going to keep using a car metaphor…the first session starts the engine, and it doesn’t turn off. The engine has finally been turned back on and not turning off, but you may need an oil change to get it to the shop real quick if you feel a shimmy so just want to get stabilized a lot more quickly. So, it’s about enhancement, not about survival needs anymore.
I know what to do now when I feel dis-regulated–all those tools I had but they weren’t sticking before, like meditation or I’ll remember to take a supplement. And, if I start feeling an old fear, I catch it and you and I have pinpointed that whole movement now.
I know where to track it so I don’t steer over the cliff to full blown dis-regulation. Knowing this feels way way better and I can handle more and make really good decisions. I can connect with what I want and what I can create because of being aware and integrating my natural state where I need to, and it keeps on giving, more and more subtle and catching things quicker. Sleep is better by the way!
My main issues were totally addressed and also the smaller things that I wasn’t paying attention to or didn’t know were a problem, or knew were things I wanted to change, but I didn’t know how to tackle all of it at once and the things I used to do weren’t working.
Your work expands and holds up all of that–any area where I was off. I’ve always been a sugar-holic. That’s my thing, and made my hot flashes worse. My urge to eat sugar has gone away. And I was depressed and anxiety-ed out, so I ate a lot of junk food and it took a lot of energy to cook and feed myself well.
Before the session, I found an emotional quotient that had been missing across my work, my health, my purpose like a pilot light had gone out. Depression and anxiety were consuming my energy and I needed to connect to myself at a deeper level. My shine was not there, and that session day just opened that up that it was okay to live beyond what was missing.

Q: Where are you now in your post-menopause Evolution?
💬 Melanie: This is a year and half later and the changes have stuck! Immediately out of the session I started painting and then ideas came to me that I wanted to express. I had canvases stored and I thought where can I put a studio? I'm just going to start in my sunroom! I took photographs of my animals and thought why not also just paint what you love?!--it has to come from my natural state.
I was usually hesitant to follow that voice to do what I want, but something changed
immediately. I started a series–very colorful, creative, my style, coherent– and landed a gallery deal that I had not been confident enough to do. My art and career sprang back to life after the session immediately and within a month, I was reaching out to this gallery based on my natural state as an artist with a mini show in a prestigious gallery. And then I got a national exposure from their website, and it was the best feeling I have ever had showing my work. The gallery manager was asking me into other galleries in the larger region which I’m still pursuing.
